These Codes of Conduct are not meant to restrict the members of the Vader's Fist club, but to set limits that will function to maintain order and uphold moral standards appropriate for Imperial Officers.
The CoC's apply to all forms of communication in the VF, including but not limited to: Message Boards, IRC chat rooms and emails, especially those sent to two or more persons.
The COMM reserves the right to make changes to these rules.
General
These rules apply everywhere, and are not limited to just one or more of the methods of communication.
1. Be respectful- You must show respect to your fellow officers, both superiors and subordinates, and handle yourself in a dignified manner.
2. Do NOT swear profusely- Whether it be in English or any other language, excessive use of obscenities will not be tolerated.
3. Be helpful- Help those who you can. If you are unable to help them yourself, point them to someone who can be of assistance.
IRC
1. Do NOT abuse OPS or X access- Kicking and banning unnecessarily is not allowed, and offenders may risk loss of OPS or even banning.
2. Do NOT flood channels or be otherwise annoying- Do not post large amounts of text at once.
3. Do NOT openly disobey a superior or order in a channel- If you have a problem with an order, speak with the officer issuing the order individually. Do not argue about it for all to see.
Message Boards
These rules apply specifically to the Vader\�s Fist Message Board system.
Do NOT abuse Moderator status- Deleting or editing another persons posts without good reason is not allowed. Good reasons for editing or deleting posts include, but are not limited to:
Extreme use of profanities
Comments meant to harm others
Spamming where spam has been prohibited

IRC
1st Offense: Warning
2nd Offense: Kick
*3rd Offense: Temporary Ban (24 hours)
**4th (And Any Subsequent) Offences: Ban
Message Boards
1st and 2nd Offenses: An elevation in warning level to be set by the moderator in charge of the board, or by the COMM or SO.
*3rd Offense: Restrictions on MB privileges to be set by the COMM.
**4th Offense: Temporary ban from the MBs, in which the offender will be unable to read or post any messages.

The warning is NOT optional. Everyone must be given at least ONE warning before a kick or ban.
*An Offender's first ban will be removed after 24 hours, unless removed earlier by the FC, XO, COMM, or SO.
**Any subsequent offences will result in a ban until the HC votes on whether to make the ban permanent or not.
Reporting Offences
To report an IRC offense of any kind, you must email the COMM (COMM@vaders-fist.net) and the SO (SO@vaders-fist.net) You must include an UNEDITED log of the offense, and a description of what happened. Also include as much information on the offender as possible (i.e. host mask). The COMM and SO will investigate and decide whether or not to bring the issue before a vote of the HC.
